Company Background Premier Machine & Gear Ltd. was founded in 1989 by Jozef Balazic. His purpose was to provide precision custom machining of gears, splines, keyways, milling and turning. In the years since the company’s founding, it has grown in leaps and bounds. In 1993, Premier Machine & Gear expanded into a neighboring unit increasing in size from 2,000 to 3,000 square-feet. In 1996, Mr. Balazic needed more room for his machinery and moved into a 6,400 square-foot building of his own. As
Premier Machine & Gear grew, Mr. Balazic stayed true to his
business philosophy always working hard and providing his customers
with superior service and craftsmanship. In 2002, a 6,000 square-foot addition was built, bringing the current building size to 12,400 square-feet. Today,
Premier Machine & Gear still provides the same superior
craftsmanship and service to all its customers.
Gear-cutting operations are equipped with specialized and
diverse tooling and machining capabilities such as hobbing and shaping
of spur gears, helical gears, herringbone gears, worm & worm
wheels, and racks. Short and long production runs are accommodated, as well as in house machining centers to provide quality and on-time deliveries. Much has changed since Premier Machine & Gear’s inception in 1989 – larger capacities, shorter lead time’s, improved technology… however, Mr. Balazic’s principle of first-class service and workmanship will never change. |
